Tanja-Juana Wenzel

Tanja was born in Paraguay and grew up in Berlin. She studied fashion design and worked as a stylist and designer before founding Mandalia Birth. Profound, transforming experiences brought her to her deep work today with and for people. Her love for design and artistic work has remained and gives her the opportunity to express her visions in creative ways.

As the founder of Mandalia Birth, Tanja's passion is to accompany women on their way to motherhood in order to maximize their strength and support them after birth. Birth traumas and abuse experiences are her heart’s greatest concern. Pregnancy and childbirth can bring great transformation potential. Here, she regards it an important and large task to create healing possibilities in birth accompaniment for women. She also works with women with an unfulfilled desire for children as well as with homosexual couples with a desire to have children and couples with adoption intentions.

Tanja is a systemic coach, trainer, wingwave® coach and instructor and hypnotherapist. Systemic work is her passion and flows into all areas of her work. Since 2016 she has been on the board of the Federal Association for Quality in Systemic Work (QSA).

In 2016, Tanja completed her training as an Initiatory Process Attendant® and has since worked with elements of indigenous cultures, such as the medicine wheel, rituals, vision seeking and council. In this wonderful training, she realized once again how essential the work in nature is, because we are a part of her and she is part of us.

In Bali she was trained as a doula by Ibu Robin Lim and Debra Pascali-Bonaro and since then supports women on the way to birth with holistic approaches.

She learned the Khalsa Way Prenatal Kundalini Yoga Training in New York from Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, which deeply moved and inspired her and gave her the opportunity to work with pregnant women on a physical level.

Tanja's mission is to bring clarity and awareness back to the subject of birth and the relationship between mother and child. She is convinced that a new generation, which has to face the challenges of this time, can only grow if the best possible conditions are created to be born and to grow in love and peace.

To develop oneself physically, mentally and spiritually and to live in harmony with the earth and the universal laws is Tanja's life's task. She therefore developed the Mandalia model, the basis of her work. Tanja regularly gives workshops and lectures: "Facilitate the earth and heal yourself" - a deeply transforming work developed by her, which creates a reconnection to the earth, to all her creatures and thus to herself.

She is the mother of a son and a daughter.

My Teachers

"I was very fortunate to have such wonderful teachers, the best! Your devotion and your love for people are my inspiration forever and accompany me every day in my work." Your education serves a higher purpose - the world for us and those who follow it.  Even more than from the outstanding methods, I have learned from your view of mankind: Everyone has their own power to heal, we are only companions. I love you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! "

„The purest thing in the world is the heart of the mother, the center of the mother.
It can move God. It can move the universe.

It can cause and effect beyond limitations. The heart of the mother is the greatest power of infinity ever given to any finite being.“

- Yogi Bhajan, Master of Kundalini Yoga
